However, the majority of custom doors fall into 3 categories; Translucent poly-carb doors, Ali-panel doors, and Cedar Doors
CUSTOM DOOR CATEGORIES
Poly-Carb Doors
Poly-carb doors feature translucent inserts which slide into the door’s lattice structure.
While these translucent inserts allow light to pass through, they are not clear, rather having a ‘frosted’ or ‘tempered’ appearance to them. This works to ensure your privacy as anyone attempting to peer through these panels will not be able to make out a clear image of what is occurring on the other side.
Ali-Panel Doors
Ali-panels are named as such for the stunning aluminium metal panels from which these doors are made.
These doors feature a negative-etching to add depth and detail to the door, which, when combined with the matte-metal finish, give these doors an incredibly ‘luxurious’ and high quality appearance.
Cedar Doors
Cedar doors are some of the best looking out on the market, however, as they are made from real timber, they come with some additional maintenance.
For those homeowners unphased by the additional maintenance and intent are on real timber, these doors are perfect!
Though, there is an alternative in Timber-look garage doors with both a smaller price tag and less maintenance required.
